With over 80 skilled technicians and craftsmen, each a trained specialist in their field, the factory operates diligently. Every day, they strive to craft high-quality leather goods for our customers, ensuring consumers enjoy a leather bag or wallet that stays stylish for years.
At Danlux Leather, we understand the importance of caring for the factory employees. Thus, responsibility is paramount and consistent work is carried out, to improving working conditions (CSR), regularly verified by third-party auditors such as BSCI.
Furthermore, all our products adhere to Europe’s chemical usage restrictions, known as REACH, ensuring that all items are safe for consumers and the environment.
Production
Our products are produced in a certified, Danish owned tannery and production facility in India. Here, the skins are crafted and turned into luxurious, sustainable products.
Both the tannery and factory share a common space within the confines of a single building in Kanpur, India, where our dedicated Indian workforce carries out their daily tasks.
The advantages of both tanning and producing the goods in the same location are numerous. One of the perks is that there are always have over 100 different leather qualities available, and we are quick to create both samples and productions. Furthermore, we excel in pricing because you, our customers, deal directly with the factory. Simultaneously, we maintain full control over quality, working conditions, sustainability (including Zero Waste), and product safety.
A Tannery With Options
At Danlux Leather, we always have a wide range of different qualities available. They are carefully selected to cater for every taste, and different qualities work better for some products than others. Colours are also an option, with the majority of our products available in black, dark brown & cognac.
We exclusively work with sustainable types of leather, which come as natural by-products of the food industry. Therefore, we exclusively work with cowhide, buffalo, and goat skin. We tan these three types of leather in:
