Sustainable Leather

We exclusively purchase raw hides from respected food producers. The raw hide is thus a byproduct of the food industry that would otherwise go to waste. In addition, leather is a very durable material that, if you buy a quality product, will last for many years and use fewer resources than alternatives.

The production of our products is conducted under proper conditions at the factory, covering both the social aspects with our employees and our handling of chemicals and the environment. The factory is audited for Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), ensuring compliance with BSCI standards, including social conditions, treating the employees well (which is a given for us), how wastewater is handled during tanning, and conducting fire drills, among other criteria.

Zero Waste

We are committed to Zero Waste principles, which means no leather goes to waste in our production. We first cut the large panels, followed by smaller ones for items such as toiletry bags, wallets, and keychains. The small leather pieces that are left and cannot be used for final products are transformed into bonded leather and reused in the production of belts and sandal soles
